1866: An American Whiskey continues our tradition of innovative blends. We started with five separate whiskies that were individually exceptional, but when blended in just the right proportions, the resulting whiskey surpasses the individual components, creating a spirit that's truly greater than the sum of its parts.
We spent most of 2024 perfecting this blend, and we're excited to share it with everyone.
The goal of 1866 was to capture the sweetness of an aged bourbon with the complexities of a great rye. 1866 does exactly that, and we can't wait for everyone to experience this perfectly balanced whiskey blend.
The name "1866: An American Whiskey" is more than a nod to our founding year; it's a tribute to the spirit of Americans who rebuilt the country after the Civil War. The label features the state of Ohio and an authentic map of Ohio train tracks from 1866, grounding the whiskey in a sense of place and history.
